Ashtanga Adaptability: Practicing With A Knee Injury

I love videos like this that show the adaptability of Ashtanga Yoga. One of the reasons I started the Ashtanga Picture Project was to showcase the diversity of Ashtanga practitioners. Ashtanga is for everyone and it is the most adaptable yoga there is. Can you imagine a student showing up for a power vinyasa led class and being given this much attention and learning how to modify their practice in this way? When I see things like this I will start featuring them.

Shanna Small has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga and studying the Yoga Sutras since 2001.
