Often called the king of all asanas

Healthy blood flow through the brain cells

Proper blood supply to pituitary and pineal glands that regulate the nervous system

Improves memory, energy and sleep patterns

Lungs become stronger


Not recommended for people with high blood pressure, neck issues and those who are considerably overweight


Strong steady practice. Because it is part of the closing series, it can be given before completion of the Primary Series if the student has shown sufficient strength and dedication.
