Demystify the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. 

Because all modern Vinyasa styles came from Ashtanga Yoga, a deep study of its practice and philosophy will also serve to illuminate other styles of Vinyasa as well.  The word Ashtanga in Sanskrit means “ashtau” eight and “anga” limb. This eight limbed system teaches the path of mental and physical health, along with awakening and liberation practices, handed down from yogi to yogi since ancient times. Ashtanga’s asana component strengthens the body, deepens flexibility, detoxifies the digestive system and prepares the body for seated pranayama and meditation practices. 

This intensive will teach you the practice, philosophy, mantras, Sanskrit counts and key Ashtanga assists.
